Metroid Dread, the first 2D Metroid game in 19 years, was released for the Nintendo Switch on October 8. Unfortunately for Nintendo, the developers behind yuzu, a Switch emulator written in C++, have already figured out how to make it run almost perfectly and without major issues on the PC.
Yuzu’s developers confirmed the support on the day of Metroid Dread’s release, noting that the emulated game performed even better than the Switch version thanks to enhancements such as improved FPS and customizable control options.
