I mean.... that would fit for a MicroProse work... but I'm curious at least. I've not seen another top down RTS sci fi game that didn't directly come from Games Workshop IP or was heavily influenced/inspired by the same.

Cearly someone purchased the name.
Lots of people have owned it. most recently David Lagetti, creator of TitanIM open world military simulation software bought MicroProse from Cybergun Group.
