Microsoft has announced a new feature called FPS Boost for its Xbox Series X|S consoles that improves the frame rate of select backward compatible games. As the company explained in a blog post published on Xbox Wire today, FPS Boost leverages the powerful hardware in its next-generation consoles to make games visually smoother and more immersive by bumping frame rates up to an impressive 120 FPS.
