Microsoft Closes Arkane Austin, Tango Gameworks, and Additional Game Studios

Arkane Austin, the developer behind 2023 open-world vampire first-person shooter Redfall, as well as Japan's Tango Gameworks (Hi-Fi Rush, The Evil Within), are scheduled to be shut down, according to an email that head of Xbox Game Studios Matt Booty sent to staff today about how Microsoft has decided to close some of its first-party studios as part of a "reprioritization of titles and resources."
