It’s not every day that companies decide to sell merchandise recalling widespread technical errors with past hardware, but Microsoft is doing just that.
Over on the Xbox Gear Shop, Microsoft has begun selling posters themed after the Red Ring of Death, a problem that an apparently substantial portion of Xbox 360 owners experienced with their second-gen consoles. Three red lights would appear around the power button in systems that had failed, necessitating repair or service.
“The Xbox Gear Shop is commemorating the release of Power On: The Story of Xbox docuseries with a poster print series featuring the promotional art and episode title cards,” a product description reads. “Collect all 7 prints!”
