Microsoft Plans to Release “At Least” Four First-Party Games for Xbox Every Year

Xbox owners can expect to see a handful of exclusive games every year, according to a new article from Microsoft that discusses Xbox's "bright future" and how one of its major ambitions is to release "at least four first-party games a year." Some of Xbox's recent exclusives include Redfall, and while that didn't turn out that well, a big one is on the way in the form of Starfield, which will make its landing exclusively for PC and Xbox Series X|S consoles on September 6, 2023. "We see the opportunity to grow not only our own business, but the entire industry as a whole," Microsoft said.
