Microsoft Retracts “Thanksgiving 2020” Launch for Xbox Series X, Reiterates Holiday Release

Despite what was published on some of its international sites, Microsoft wants fans to know that Thanksgiving 2020 is not the official release date of the Xbox Series X, its next-generation console.

In an attempt to clarify the situation, Xbox Live’s Major Nelson (Larry Hryb) tweeted that the information was “inaccurately listed.” Microsoft is, however, committed to launching the console “Holiday 2020.”
