Microsoft to End Sales of Windows 10 Licenses This Month

Microsoft appears to be taking another big step at encouraging PC users to switch to what it has described as its greatest OS ever, Windows 11. According to a message that can be found on Microsoft’s Windows 10 Home and Windows 10 Pro product pages, Microsoft will no longer sell Windows 10 licenses directly to consumers after January 31, 2023. The implication is that Windows users who insist on sticking with Windows 10 will only be able to get a key through third-party retailers, which many presumably do anyway because of perks that include lower prices.
