Monster Hunter Rise Coming to Steam on January 12, 2022

Capcom has announced that its latest Monster Hunter title, Monster Hunter Rise, will launch on Steam on January 12, 2022 for $59.99. The game has been available for the Nintendo Switch since March.

According to an article on Capcom Unity and footage from the new trailer, some of the features that Monster Hunter Rise players on PC can expect include uncapped frame rates, 4K resolution ,and high-res textures. Capcom has also...

Yeah, but no.

Monster Hunter World: Iceborne had tricked me into purchasing it (all the strong reviews, etc. but I failed to watch any gameplay trailers then, too busy at the time, so, shame on me) but the 2007-ish graphics, poor animations, no next-gen tech at all, etc. stop me from playing MHW less than an hour from its introduction and going off the gameplay trailers for Rise, it appears that nothing has changed.
