MSI Confirms Ryzen 5000 Series Support for Its Entire Range of AMD 400 Series Motherboards

This shouldn’t come as a shock to MSI users, but the company has confirmed that all of its X470 and B450 motherboards will be getting support for AMD’s new Ryzen 5000 Series processors. As hinted by red team itself and various other manufacturers, owners can expect BIOSes enabling Zen 3 for these chipsets sometime in January 2021 (a chart from AMD suggests that these will be “beta” releases, but we’re guessing that they’ll work well enough and not fry your system in the process).



MSI has already released the appropriate BIOSes for enabling Ryzen 5000 Series support on its latest X570 and B550 motherboards (e.g., MEG X570 GODLIKE, MAG B550 TOMAHAWK). The links to those may be found...
