Netflix has announced that it is developing a live-action film based on Keanu Reeves’ 12-issue limited Boom! Studios comic book series, BRZRKR. According to a press release shared by the streaming giant earlier this week, Reeves will not only produce but star in the upcoming feature.



“BRZRKR is a brutally epic saga about an immortal warrior’s 80,000 year fight through the ages,” a synopsis reads. “The man known only as ‘B’ is half-mortal and half-god, cursed and compelled to violence…even at the sacrifice of his sanity.”

Sorry, there can be only one Highlander.

They aren't called "Highlander's." They are simply referenced as immortals. "The Highlander" is a specific nickname for the Connor McLeod character. However, the reference actually applies to three specific characters in the film universe or universes as they are largely incompatible with each other due to a myriad of annoying continuity problems between each installment of the franchise.
