Netflix Hires Avengers: Endgame Directors to Make Its Most Expensive Movie Ever

It appears that another huge pay day is in store for Anthony and Joe Russo, the directing duo responsible for the highest-grossing movie (before inflation is accounted for, at least) in the world. According to Deadline, Netflix has tapped the Avengers: Endgame directors for The Gray Man, a thriller that will cost upward of $200 million!



That’s a lot of money, but it’s somewhat unsurprising when you realize that the stars of the movie are not only Ryan Gosling, but Captain America himself, Chris Evans. Even if the script did turn out to be a complete disaster, Netflix subscribers should expect some good performances out of the big-budget original.

The Russos did an excellent job with the two Captain America movies. Winter Soldier is still my favorite MCU film. Never heard of the books, but I will look forward to see what this is like.
