NetherRealm Studios Ends DLC Support for Mortal Kombat 11, Confirms Start of New Project

NetherRealm Studios has revealed that its latest mainline Mortal Kombat game, Mortal Kombat 11, will not be getting any additional DLC. Since its release in April 2019, Mortal Kombat 11 has received a generous amount of downloadable content in the form of new fighters and cosmetics, but apparently, the most recent DLC release, Kombat Pack 2, which added Mileena, Rain, and John Rambo, will be the fighter’s last. NetherRealm Studios confirmed that DLC support for Mortal Kombat 11 is ending because it has moved on to a new project. NetherRealm hasn’t clarified what that might be, but the studio is traditionally known for developing either Mortal Kombat or Injustice titles—the latter being a fighting game series involving Superman, Batman, and other popular DC Comics properties.

So now that the game is complete, I'm still not buying it for I remember.
