New DDR5-11254 Memory Overclocking Record Set with GIGABYTE Z790 AORUS TACHYON Motherboard

GIGABYTE has announced that a new DDR5 memory overclocking milestone has been achieved using one of its premium motherboards with support for 12th and 13th Gen Intel Core processors, the Z790 AORUS TACHYON. According to the relevant entry on HWBOT, Hicookie, a famed overclocker, reached a memory overclock of DDR-11254 earlier this month, putting him ahead of other impressive but slightly lesser attempts that include those from Seby9123 and lupin_no_musume. A 13th Gen Intel Core i9-13900K was used in the overclocking effort, cooled via liquid nitrogen.
