Godzilla is coming to Apple’s streaming service, Apple TV+.
As detailed in a press release shared today, Apple has ordered a series based on Legendary’s MonsterVerse, a multimedia franchise that centers around Godzilla, King Kong, and other iconic Kaiju. According to a short description of the show, Apple’s untitled MonsterVerse series will trace the journey of a family following the events of the previous Godzilla films, one that seemingly has ties to Monarch, the secret organization that was introduced in Gareth Evans’ 2014 Godzilla reboot.
