The developers behind Square Enix’s legendary RPG series Mana (otherwise known as Seiken Densetsu in Japan) have confirmed that a new installment is in development. Producer Masaru Oyamada shared the news during the Mana series’ 30th anniversary live stream today, and while he didn’t have a lot of details to share at this early stage, Oyamada did confirm that the upcoming game was being developed for consoles. The Mana series’ 30th anniversary live stream also revealed that a TV anime called Legend of Mana: The Teardrop Crystal is in production by Warner Bros. Japan and being animated by Graphinica in collaboration with Yokohama Animation Lab. Legend of Mana: The Teardrop Crystal’s release date is unknown.
