Lost count of how many Assassin's Creed games there are? Ubisoft isn't helping matters. The next title in the franchise, "Ragnarok," is already well underway, and according to the latest rumor, it'll be unveiled during a special Sony-hosted event on February 12, 2020. Assassin's Creed: Ragnarok will supposedly take place during the Viking era and bring back Brotherhood's recruiting system.
Apparently, Assassin's Creed Ragnarok will have a Viking setting (which has been leaked in the past and outright teased by Ubisoft in other games), and it's aiming for a fall 2020 release on both current- and next-gen consoles. The game's map will feature Scandinavia and parts of England, with players able to choose between playing as a male or female protagonist named Jora.
