Team NINJA’s upcoming collection of modern Ninja Gaiden games, Ninja Gaiden: Master Collection, is set to be an ordinary and insipid PC port. This is according to producer Fumihiko Yasuda, who admitted to PC Gamer in a recent interview that the Steam version wouldn’t support advanced graphics options such as unlocked frame rates or ultrawide resolutions. Ninja Gaiden: Master Collection will run at 4K and 60 FPS for players with the proper hardware, however.

There’s another small disappointment for PC gamers: Yasuda said that the Steam port only works with a controller, and does not have keyboard/mouse support. I think the vast majority of Ninja Gaiden players would prefer to play on a controller, anyway, but it is odd to see a PC port in 2021 without at least cursory keyboard/mouse mapping.

Fans won't care and this will keep people looking for cool eye candy from purchasing. Perhaps their smooth awesome animations just don't work well above 60fps.

Thanks for the lazy port you jack@sses. That will certainly get me to spend money on this.
