Nintendo Apologizes for Switch Shortage: Console Sold Out at Practically Every Retailer

Hand sanitizer, masks, and toilet paper aren’t the only things that are flying off the shelves these days. Nintendo’s portable Switch console is also impossible to find at nearly every major retailer – at standard MSRP ($300), at least.



“Nintendo Switch hardware is selling out at various retail locations in the U.S., but more systems are on the way,” Nintendo explained in a statement to GameSpot. “We apologize for any inconvenience.”
