No Time to Die: MGM’s New 007 Film Delayed to April 2, 2021

No Time to Die, Daniel Craig’s final outing as British super-spy James Bond, has been delayed yet again due to the coronavirus pandemic. The film will now release on April 2, 2021 – an entire year after its original premiere date.



“MGM, Universal and Bond producers, Michael G. Wilson and Barbara Broccoli, today announced the release of No Time To Die, the 25th film in the James Bond series, will be delayed until 2 April 2021 in order to be seen by a worldwide theatrical audience,” the official 007 blog wrote. “We understand the delay will be disappointing to our fans but we now look forward to sharing No Time To Die next year.”



This is terrible news for the theater industry, which is quickly running out of blockbusters to show in the remainder of 2020. Warner Bros.’ Dune and Wonder Woman...

I wish they would just get on board with digital distribution already.

It’s like when the recording industry just couldn’t let the CD die, and then everyone just Napstered right around them. People have mostly just stop caring about theaters and have moved on to Netflix / YouTube / TikTok already

Every movie that has been delayed by COVID-19 should just release digitally. Not sure waiting for theaters to re-open en masse is the right plan. You gotta get with the COVID-19 times. Theaters were already in trouble before this disease came around. I think even if things were to return to "normal" people are still gonna be hella hesitant to go back to theaters.

Man I wish all these movies would get released digitally. The way it's going we're gonna have so many movies in 2021 you'll have to go twice a week if you want to keep up with them.
