Noctua has launched its very first passive CPU cooler, the NH-P1. Leveraging a completely fanless design, Noctua’s NH-P1 offers 100 percent silent cooling through natural convection and is “capable of cooling modern high-end CPUs with low to moderate heat dissipation completely passively in enclosures with good natural convection.” This is owed to the NH-P1’s custom design, which features much thicker, more widely spaced fins. Noctua also announced the NF-A12x25 LS-PWM 120 mm fan today, a low-speed, PWM-enabled variant of the NF-A12x25 with a maximum noise level of only 12.1 dB(A). Noctua’s suggested retail prices are EUR/USD 109.90 for the NH-P1 and EUR/USD 29.90 for the NF-A12x25 LS-PWM.
