NVIDIA Announces RTX A6000 and A40 Ampere GPUs for Professional Market

NVIDIA has unveiled its latest pro-grade Ampere graphics cards, the RTX A6000 and A40. Geared toward professional usage, these GPUs boast new CUDA Cores and second-generation RT Cores that provide twice the throughput over the previous generation, as well as third-generation Tensor Cores that provide five times the training throughput over the previous generation.



They also come packed with 48 GB of GDDR6 EEC RAM, but users who demand more can scale up to 96 GB of memory using NVIDIA’s proprietary NVLink connector. PCIe 4.0 support also means a dramatic improvement in bandwidth and data-transfer speeds.
