NVIDIA Delays GeForce RTX 3070 Release (October 29) to Ensure Adequate Stock

NVIDIA originally intended to release its mid-range GeForce RTX 30 Series GPU, the GeForce RTX 3070, on October 15th. That date has been pushed back to October 29th, which means that prospective buyers will have to remain patient for a few more weeks.



As you might imagine, NVIDIA is doing this to avoid the disastrous launches of its flagship GPUs, the GeForce RTX 3080 and GeForce RTX 3090, which seemingly released with little to no stock. Whatever was available was largely scooped up by scalpers, who employed sophisticated bots to beat out legitimate buyers.
