The GeForce RTX 2060 (12 GB) is said to feature 2,176 cores and a 1,650 MHz boost clock just like the SUPER model but differ in a few areas such as memory bandwidth and thermal design power.

The existence of this really disgusts me more than I care to admit.

On one hand, it wouldn't be the first time a GPU vendor has used the previous generation in lieu of lower tier newer generation. Although often it's accompanied with a rebadge: it makes it obvious it's intended to fit in the next generation, but it also appears somewhat misleading when you have the same tech with two generational names.

On the other... the fact that they are gearing this up while at the same time cut Ampere production to "keep the market from crashing" while it was no where near saturation... I'm sure the share holders loved it.
