Pricing for NVIDIA’s immensely popular GeForce RTX 30 Series graphics cards have reached ridiculous heights in European regions. This is according to research by 3D Center, which posted comprehensive charts showing that the average pricing for green team’s Ampere-based GPUs now hover around three times their original MSRP. 3D Center has also shared pricing data regarding AMD’s Radeon RX 6000 Series GPUs, but their premiums aren’t as bad compared to NVIDIA’s options.

That's just nuts.

I know one thing for sure. I'm not buying any GPU until I can get them at MSRP.

...and I'm not talking board partner MSRP, I'm talking AMD/Nvidia launch press event MSRP.

I guess the good old Pascal Titan X will have to soldier on.

Things are getting really out of hand. At what point does a manufacturer break relationships with aib vendors and just release their own at msrp? Nvidia could do a hostile takeover of someone like Eva for a relatively low cost and restructure their manufacturing to make oem cards at a better reliable rate. These prices are nuts. Glad I got.my card of this Gen already.

Some of my family are looking to upgrade but there just isnt any good news for them.
Last week I checked prices of 3080 cards in the UK and genuine (lol) ones started around £2100, 'buy now' that is.
Its worth getting in a queue and waiting a year at that price, to get true retail price, using the time to get new pastimes/hobbies.

The evga queue is screwed. As far as I can tell only upper tier versions are selling at all. And of course the queue prices have gone up as well.

I don't even know of any video cards can be had for msrp any more.

nVidia already makes their own OEM cards - Founders Edition. AMD does as well. They usually only do this for the higher-tiered cards though.
