With the release date of the GeForce RTX 40 Series rapidly approaching, NVIDIA’s Ampere products are about to be sidelined and forgotten, only to be remembered as one of the more disappointing generations of graphics cards due to their lack of availability and ridiculous markups, right?
Not quite. Speaking at a Morgan Stanley investors event today, NVIDIA CFO Colette Kress teased that there is actually a chance of green team continuing to sell its current generation of graphics cards even after the debut of its shinier, Lovelace-based GeForce RTX 40 Series, whose initial models are expected to launch later this year.
