The GeForce RTX 5090 GPU — the fastest GeForce RTX GPU to date — features 92 billion transistors, providing over 3,352 trillion AI operations per second (TOPS) of computing power. Blackwell architecture innovations and DLSS 4 mean the GeForce RTX 5090 GPU outperforms the GeForce RTX 4090 GPU by up to 2x.

So if I’m reading that right, the 5000 series is about 25% faster if you don’t want fake frames?

I know I'm an old school gamer. And quite honestly 25% better performance is ok with me, amazing that DLSS can make that 2x the performance of the 4090 with it's most current DLSS.

I've seen people saying time and time again DLSS is the way to better performance. And at this point I will probably buy in if I can swing a 5090. BUT... I'll be trying to stick with native as best I can for 4k gaming.

I'm just relieved the starting price isn't 2600 to be honest.

this keynote was MUCH more interesting than AMD's sadly. At least for the stuff I care about.

I'm guessing the 5070 having 4090 performance, probably has a huge asterisk. Only with DLLS 4 and frame gen.

Still, not too shabby
