The GeForce RTX 5090, a new flagship GPU based on NVIDIA's "Blackwell" architecture that is expected to be announced by the end of the year for gamers and creators, has been rumored to feature a TGP/TDP of 600 watts, and if that spec turns out to be true, the graphics card better come with more than one power connector, according to new insight shared by Steve Burke, founder of Gamers Nexus.

I feel like if you'd be using 12v2x6 with a PSU that fully supports it, you should be fine. Even GN said in their latest video that plugging it in fully is the best recommendation along with making sure you're not bending the cables to close to the connection. Guess we'll have to wait and see to be sure, but might not be that much of an issue now?
