NVIDIA Introducing GeForce RTX 30 “Lite Hash Rate” Series to Fend Off Cryptominers

There have been plenty of reports about how NVIDIA is planning to refresh its entire range of GeForce RTX 30 Series graphics cards with updated chips to counter cryptomining and ensure that more of these products go to gamers. According to a new report from VideoCardz, these refreshed GPUs are being internally referred to as the “Lite Hash Rate” series and feature not only a new cryptocurrency mining limiter, but ResizableBAR support as well (no vBIOS update required like the current SKUs). NVIDIA’s updated GeForce RTX 30 Series graphics cards are expected to hit the market beginning in June.
