NVIDIA has confirmed the release date and pricing of its GeForce GTX 1660 SUPER. The Turing GPU will be launching on October 29th for $229, which, as VideoCardz points out, is just $10 more than the base model. That makes sense, being that the cards are so similar aside from memory (both utilize the TU116-300 and offer the same CUDA core count).
The GTX 1660 SUPER also features a new memory configuration. The maximum theoretical bandwidth has increased to 336 GB/s, which is even more than GTX 1660 Ti (288 GB/s). This is possible thanks to GDDR6 memory rated at 14 Gbps (the Ti model is clocked at 12 Gbps).
