NVIDIA Prepping Mobile GeForce RTX 2080 SUPER with Max-Q Design for Gaming Laptops

As hinted by previous rumors, NVIDIA is planning to bring its SUPER branding to gaming laptops. APISAK has spotted a new entry on Geekbench for a “GeForce RTX 2080 SUPER with Max-Q Design,” which implies that the refined SKU could be debuting in gaming laptops very soon.



According to the OpenCL listing, this mobile version of the RTX 2080 SUPER features 48 compute units, a maximum frequency of 1.23 GHz, and 8 GB of memory. A leak from November revealed that the Max-Q variant would have an 80 W TGP, 70 watts lower than the standard design (150+ W TGP).
