NVIDIA has released a new hotfix driver that addresses issues related to G-SYNC, the company’s adaptive refresh technology, as well as two games, Call of Duty: Vanguard and Assassin’s Creed Valhalla. Hotfix driver version 511.72 fixes an issue whereby G-SYNC can’t be re-enabled on G-SYNC Compatible displays after the feature is manually disabled from the NVIDIA Control Panel, according to the driver notes. Call of Duty: Vanguard players should also no longer experience random corruption after applying the hotfix, while Assassin’s Creed Valhalla should now launch correctly in all cases.
