NVIDIA has removed the special developer driver that allows GeForce RTX 3060 users to bypass the graphics card’s cryptocurrency mining limiter and mine Ether at its full potential. The removal of the GeForce 470.05 driver was confirmed by HardwareLuxx editor Andreas Schilling, who received a statement from green team advising that it had accidentally included code that removed the hash rate limiter in some configurations. NVIDIA has also updated its official developer site to note that the driver is no longer available.



“A developer driver inadvertently included code used for internal development which removes the hash rate limiter on RTX 3060 in some configurations,” NVIDIA’s statement to HardwareLuxx reads. “The driver has been removed.”

Too late, it's already out in the wild. Damage is already done. Better luck next time.
Unfortunately this is true, once something is on the internet, there is no removing it. Even if you do your best to police anyone hosting it it can still be shared between users. All you can do is force it underground.

Let's hope the driver does not work on the 3080ti. And that nvidia does not make the same "mistake" twice.
 
Yeah, there's no hiding this driver. It's already hit torrents and private hosting amongst the miners.
