Someone at NVIDIA may have hit the publish button a little too early, according to a screenshot that @momomo_us shared today that seems to confirm the key specifications for the GeForce RTX 4070 Ti, a third Ada Lovelace graphics card that the company will likely unveil during next week's GeForce Beyond event as part of the CES 2023 festivities.

One wonders if there will be a firmware or driver hack to restore full 4080 specs? Or will it also involve a mechanical pencil as well?

I did this back in the day - with a mechanical pencil supplied by AMD. There was a booth at a computer show in the Bay Area and the AMD team was selling CPU's and had a bunch of free pencils to go with the order. https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=22479944
