NVIDIA is reportedly planning to launch its GeForce RTX 3050 for budget gamers relatively soon, but the graphics card won’t limited to a single configuration.
That’s according to famed leaker kopite7kimi, who claims that NVIDIA has cooked up two versions of the GeForce RTX 3050. The weaker one, which leverages the GA106-140 GPU, will supposedly feature 2,304 CUDA cores and 4 GB of memory, while the more powerful model is said to utilize the GA106-150 GPU and feature 2,560 CUDA cores and 8 GB of memory.
Kopite7kimi suggested last year that NVIDIA had been planning to use the GA107-300 GPU for the GeForce RTX 3050 and that there would only be one model available with the same CUDA core count as the new and alleged 4 GB model. The card was also said to feature at 90-watt TGP.
