Paramount Releases First Trailers for Halo TV Series and Sonic the Hedgehog 2

Video games weren’t only the media that received exciting new trailers during this year’s Game Awards show.



Paramount took advantage of the occasion by sharing trailers for two of its upcoming and highly anticipated features, Halo, a TV series based on 343 Industries’ hugely popular sci-fi shooter franchise, and Sonic the Hedgehog 2, a sequel to 2020’s surprisingly successful adaptation of Sega’s speedy mascot.



The Halo series will begin streaming in 2022 exclusively on Paramount+, while Sonic the Hedgehog 2 is slated to hit theaters on April 8, 2022.

Dramatizing an epic 26th-century conflict between humanity and an alien threat known as the Covenant, Halo the series will weave deeply drawn personal stories with action, adventure and a richly imagined vision of the future.

Well... it may be good but I personally feel like they missed the boat. There was the whole mini series they did with the kids in training and the Master Cheif showed up to save them when the aliens attacked. I wanted to see a continuation of their story more than I wanted to see a Master Chief focused story.

But maybe that's just me.
 
I'll reserve judgement until I see a few episodes .. but there's a lot of great material to draw from that can potentially make for a very entertaining experience.
