The Elder Scrolls VI has been all but confirmed to be exclusive to the Xbox and PC platforms. Bethesda Game Studios’ next major game, Starfield, will be Xbox and PC only, and Xbox head Phil Spencer told GQ Magazine in a recent interview that he sees the same for the sixth mainline installment of Elder Scrolls. He also suggests that all other future Bethesda titles will be available to play only on PC and Xbox.
“It’s not about punishing any other platform, like I fundamentally believe all of the platforms can continue to grow,” Spencer explained. “But in order to be on Xbox, I want us to be able to bring the full complete package of what we have. And that would be true when I think about Elder Scrolls VI. That would be true when I think about any of our franchises.”
