Nightdive Studios is a developer that’s best known for its remasters of classic titles such as System Shock, Forsaken, and Turok 2: Seeds of Evil. It should come as no surprise that one of its next projects is something of a similar vein.



Confirmed via a store listing and unlisted trailer courtesy of GOG, PowerSlave Exhumed is an HD remaster of Lobotomy Software’s classic first-person shooter centered around the ancient Egyptian city of Karnak, which is under siege by extraterrestrial insect-like aliens called the Kilmaat.



According to GOG’s listing, the game will be updated with various features that include new widescreen/HD resolutions, modern gamepad support, SMAA antialiasing, and anistrophic texture filtering. PowerSlave Exhumed players can also expect the addition of achievements, as well as Vulkan/Direct X 11 graphics API support...

Known? Are any of the remasters actually out yet? They have been toiling away at system shock for far too long, which imo looks like an average remaster at best.

I've never even heard of this "classic" so you can imagine my excitement. They should get their crap together and actually complete one project before announcing others. Because it doesn't exactly instill confidence.
