The one thing gamers complain about today is game audio just plain sucks. It seems like current and new game development leaves audio in the back seat as an afterthought. So, I'm not exactly sure how an app like this is going to help. Garbage in is always going to be garbage out.

You're right. You need to start with a good foundation. COD MW sound while good, with gun shots, explosions, things like that sucks with foot steps.
