Sony has inadvertently leaked the pricing for its new XR-55A95K and XR-65A95K TVs, two models that are notable for being some of the first televisions to feature QD-OLED panels.
As calculated by HDTVTest’s Vincent Teoh, the 55-inch XR-55A95K should cost $3,000, while pricing for the larger 65-inch XR-65A95K is expected to be $4,000. These prices seem to be significantly higher than LG’s W-OLED alternatives, but the premiums should be justified based on some of the early, positive impressions that QD-OLED has garnered thus far.
Sony says that its XR-55A95K and XR-65A95K TVs are capable of 200% greater color brightness than conventional TVs thanks to their combination of QD-OLED panels and XR OLED Contrast Pro technology.
