PlayStation VR2 isn't officially supported on PCs yet, but that hasn't stopped some users from plugging Sony's new headset into their machines and seeing what happens when the $549.99 device is paired with some of today's more popular graphics cards. One experiment comes courtesy of an editor with The Verge, who tried connecting the PS VR2 directly to a PC by way of an AMD Radeon RX 6800 XT's USB-C port and found some level of success, with Windows picking up the headset (and its VR2 Sense controllers) as a second screen, albeit limited to 1080p, and with no response from SteamVR, Valve's platform for VR hardware and games. Sony declined to confirm whether PS VR2 would ever officially support PC, but the original PS VR is compatible with SteamVR to some extent thanks to third-party efforts that include Trinus PSVR, which also counts support for non-VR games.
