Razer to Acquire Console Accessories Brand Controller Gear

Razer has announced its intention to purchase console accessories brand Controller Gear, which is best known for creating licensed wireless controllers, charging stands, cases, and skins branded with art from over 40 major gaming and pop culture properties such as Star Wars and Marvel Comics. The acquisition is expected to help Razer excel even further in the rapidly growing premium console market, which is expected to balloon to $200 billion in 2023.
