PC Red Dead Redemption fans who want nothing to do with the Epic Games Store or the Rockstar Games Launcher can rejoice, as the open-world western's sequel is now available on Steam. Sadly for Rockstar, the game has only achieved a Mixed rating so far, with some users on the discussion forum calling it one of the worst PC ports of all time. That may be an exaggeration, but it appears that the Steam version does have at least one unique technical issue.
It appears one problem some are facing has an easy solution according to some Reddit users. Players whose game keeps crashing should try to start the game without a controller plugged into the computer. It appears there is some driver issue that prevents the game from starting. Several said their problems were fixed once they unplugged their controller.
