Resident Evil 4’s upcoming VR edition for Oculus Quest 2 headsets is a censored edition of the survival horror classic that lacks some of the content from the original. This has been confirmed by Facebook, which sent UploadVR a statement today explaining how the developers changed certain in-game dialog and animations to make the game a better fit for “a modern audience.” The majority of the censored content seems to relate to Ashley Graham, who some evidently thought was overtly sexualized.

I've never played a Resident Evil game, so I have no idea what the extent of this **** was or what the context was.

If it was depicting a ****head being a ****head and mistreating this character, I'm OK with it staying in.

If it was glorifying the objectification of women, taking it out was probably the right thing to do.
