Rockstar Agrees to Implement Fan-Made Loading Time Fix for Grand Theft Auto Online

Rockstar Games has opted to implement an unofficial, fan-made bug fix for Grand Theft Auto Online that can reduce the loading times of the popular open-world multiplayer title by as much as 70 percent. The news comes from the solution’s creator, t0st, who updated their original analysis with a confirmation that Rockstar would be adding the fix to the game soon. The developer declined to provide any additional technical details on the subject, however.

They are probably like.... huh, good job kid. Here's a free in-game Rockstar t-shirt.
 
I love thst they said eff it the kid did the work put it in. Then when consoles couldn't keep up with the unrestricted load times they had to back it out. Now there like.. well **** Bob. Cats out if the bag now. We were throttling pc load times to give a more equal experience and we pulled a Cyberpunk mistake by not realizing the impact on **** consoles.
