Rockstar Games has revealed via its official Twitter account that the physical versions of Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition have been delayed. The Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PS4 versions will now be released on a later date this month, while the Nintendo Switch version won’t see a release until next year.

So basically the translation is: We can get away with relasing utter sithe for PC, PS4, and Xbox, but nintendo would skewer us so we are delaying that one.
 
So basically the translation is: We can get away with relasing utter sithe for PC, PS4, and Xbox, but nintendo would skewer us so we are delaying that one.
They likely have a much more rigorous and/or expensive validation process, and every release (game and/or patch for the game) has to go through the validation process.
