AMD has revealed that its client segment revenue for 2024 was a record $7.1 billion —up 52% compared to the prior year—and it's in large part thanks to strong demand for the company's latest Ryzen processors, which, according to new statements that Dr. Lisa Su (Chair and Chief Executive Officer at AMD) shared during a recent earnings call, were so good that red team saw "record desktop channel sellout" in the fourth quarter, with the CPUs exceeding 70% share at major retailers that include Amazon, Newegg, and Germany's Mindfactory over the holidays.
