GSC Game World has released a new official trailer for S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl, a fourth installment of the classic FPS survival horror series that is being developed on Unreal Engine 5 and will reintroduce players to the Zone, a forbidden territory surrounding the Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant that features dangerous mutants, deadly anomalies, and other foes.

Interesting. I've never seen the spelling latinized that way.

The typical English spelling is Chernobyl.

Heck in Sweden back when I was living there in 1986 when the accident happened, the papers all spelled it "Tjernobyl".

I wonder where this double-o spelling comes from.
 
I'm honsestly a little surprised they are still making progress. I would have thought the whole "there's a real war going on" thing might have put a damper on things.
