Samsung is currently developing a next-generation Exynos SoC for its premium Galaxy smartphones that leverages AMD’s RDNA 2 technology for what is expected to be an admirable boost in mobile graphics performance. According to a recent post shared by the company on China’s Weibo platform, Samsung’s new Exynos SoC with RDNA 2 GPU will include support for ray tracing, enabling more realistic lighting and reflection effects for games released on the Android platform. The new GPU is rumored to feature 384 Stream Processors.
