Could QD-OLED TVs and monitors see cheaper prices in the near future? Possibly, teases, BusinessKorea, which has shared a new report about how Samsung Display has managed to improve the yield of its new panels significantly.

Interesting news... very interesting... I've been teasing the idea of a ultrawide for my desktop... hummm

Is Samsung still planning to use LG OLED panels in their upcoming OLEDs? Or are they gonna make their own? What OLED panels will Sony be using?

Samsung Displays has developed their own panels. The current Sony QD-OLED's use those panels.

The interesting thing is that Samsung Electronics, who sells consumer TV/Monitor products, is a separate company. They took a while to work out a deal with Samsung Displays on the QD-OLED panels. Which is why Sony was the first to release a product with the panels.
